Nano Narratives, Newstead Short Story Festival 13-15th May

Nano Narratives

Newstead Short Story Tattoo

Sunday, May 15th

11am

Nano Narratives is fairly obvious.  This session seeks to showcase some of the great short, short, short, story writers of our time, and our community.  Young people and adults have been invited from all over the shire to take part in this event, and to add a little spice there will be prizes for the best short shorts.  Chris Flynn, Eric Dando, and Josephine Rowe have between them, won many hearts and minds, and competitions,  through powerful writing prowess, but there may be strangers afoot to come and knock them from their lofty, comfy, literary perches.  Sean Bad is the dark horse but make no mistake there will be smokies galore as the session wears on.  This should be fun, but quality will win the day, as there will not be any quantity whatsoever. Open mic  available to anyone who wishes to read a story that doesn’t go for more than 2 minutes. The shorter the better mate.
